Teen Acneic/Oily Skin Facial Treatments
Acne results when tiny glands beneath the skin surface, the sebaceous glands, become clogged with sebum, an oily substance whose normal collection and excretion keeps the skin healthy. If clogged, bacteria can grow in the glands, which in turn causes swelling and pimpling on the skin’s surface. This can occur anywhere on the epidermis where there are hair follicles below the surface (the sebaceous glands are attached to these follicles), including the face, back, and neck. Acne afflicts adults as well as teens, but is typically more common during times of high hormonal activity like adolescence.
Adolescence is an exciting and often troublesome time for teens suffering from skin conditions. Significant hormonal changes can lead to many new conditions that may be exacerbated by social pressures and teasing. Acne will affect

Acne is caused by overproduction of oil in the skin, blockage of the skin ’s pores, and a particular bacteria that causes breakouts. Many teenagers experience little pustules on their faces, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin). Left untreated, they can develop into more advanced stages of acne which force parents to seek stronger medications.
The trend we have noticed is that the teen uses strong over-the-counter (OTC) topical acne products with "benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid", which does not balance the conditions with anything hydrating, leaving the skin flaky and sensitive on top, oily and a little less acne prone underneath. Even worse, the acne is untreated altogether and by the time the teen goes to college the inflammation has done enough damage to cause scarring.

This professional Lite Teen Acne Peel is uses 100% organic willow bark (Natural Salicylic Acid/beta-hydroxy acid) that works great for deep pore penetration makes it an excellent choice for those prone to mild and moderate acne vulgar is (a common problem, especially among teenagers).
