The skin is in a constant state of turnover: dead skin rises to the surface, sheds naturally and reveals the baby soft skin underneath. This process slows over time as we age, contributing to a buildup of dead cells on the skin’s surface. Add pollution and other forms of environmental stress to the mix, and you have a recipe for dull, rough and itchy skin. As with all exfoliants, the goal of a body scrub is to remove dead skin cells and encourage the healthy production of new ones.
Exfoliation is an essential part of any good skincare routine. A body polish is perhaps best thought of as a “facial for the body”. Body Exfoliation/Scrub Benefits
How to choose your next body scrub treatment:
Glycolic Acid: has effective skin-renewing properties, so it is often used in anti-aging treatments. It can help smooth fine wrinkles and improve the skin's tone and texture, visibly refine, brighten, and smooth crepey skin with roughness, dry, bumpy skin texture—even keratosis pilaris. Unlike a regular body scrub, AHAs boost the skin’s ability to stay hydrated and firm. Great for dry-very dry, pre and post menopause skin and hormonal body acne, except very sensitive skin.
Lactic Acid and Enzyme Peels: has effective skin-renewing properties, but don’t penetrate too deeply into the skin, making them appropriate for sensitive skin.
Sea Salt: abrasive scrub, rich in mineral, magnesium, calcium, and potassium, host of detoxing properties. If you need something more rejuvenating and vigorous in your life, you might rather choose a salt-based scrub.
Not recommended for thin, very dry, and sensitive skin types.
Organic Raw Sugar: less abrasive than salt scrub, and great for all skin type including sensitive skin.

Aromatherapy Conditioning Body Wrap

Soothe the body and mind with this aromatherapy body wrap. This treatment begins with a full body dry brushing that will gently stimulate lymphatic and circulatory systems. We then use hot moist towels compresses (hot compresses are beneficial to cure pain or inflammation, it soothes and heals the body, also open pores for the products to penetrate better), followed with combination of 100% pure, therapeutic, natural and organic essential oils, blended with organic healing botanical based oil and applied all over your body, then we apply a cream based botanical mask and your body will be cocooned in plastic sheet and kept warm for 20 minutes underneath an Far infrared therapy healing heater, designed to soothe, restore and balance the system. We leave you alone for 20 minutes with no interruption while your skin is getting the care that it needs to bask in the darkroom and soft music, giving you time to take a nap. Your treatment starts with a gentle exfoliation using body brushes, followed by warm body compresses, then magnesium
oil and the mineral body mask combined with aromatherapy essential oils will be applied and you will be wrapped and cocooned in warm wraps to relax for 30 minutes in infrared blanket, your treatment finishes with an application of hydrating body lotion. This treatment combines the powers of plants and aroma therapy to leave skin feeling silky, and the body calm, and re-energized. The infrared blanket heat penetrates the body tissues promoting relaxation and speeding up blood circulation, lymph drainage and metabolism.
